The pod is a value-added product that is pre-ground, pre-measured, and pre-tamped coffee wrapped tightly in filter paper. It is then placed in a protective pouch, nitrogen-flushed and sealed inside of a barrier film.

Pods are the most efficient and convenient way of pulling a consistent shot of espresso with the added convenience of not having to grind, measure, tamp, and cleanup.
